We look at your roof before we quote it. You receive a written, line-item estimate listing materials, labor, and any decking we expect to replace. Quotes stay valid for 30 days.
Estimates are free. If the price changes once the roof is open, we stop, show you photos, and wait for your approval before spending more of your money.
The written scope names what we will tear off, what we will recover or overlay, and what we will leave untouched. A typical scope includes:
Anything not listed in the written scope is not included. We would rather add a line item up front than argue about it later.
We ask for a deposit when materials are ordered and the balance when the work passes your walkthrough. We do not ask for full payment before the first shingle comes off.
On insurance jobs, we bill the carrier directly and collect only your deductible as the policy requires. We accept check, card, and bank transfer.
Our workmanship warranty covers installation defects for the period stated in your signed agreement. Manufacturer coverage on shingles, membrane, and metal panels passes through to you.
Coverage does not extend to storm damage, foot traffic, or repairs another contractor performed. Keep your paperwork, because we will ask to see it.
We carry liability coverage and workers' compensation for every crew member on your property. If we crack a window or scuff siding, we document it and repair it.
We are not responsible for conditions hidden above the deck, including rotted framing or old wiring that a tear-off exposes. We will show you what we find before we proceed.

Unresolved disputes go to mediation in Hudson County, New Jersey, before either side files suit. New Jersey law governs these terms.
